Question:What is the time frame for the completion of the PYP courses?
Answer:Three regular semesters excluding summer term. (Summer Term is optional and failing is not counted)
  
Question:Is the GPA counted for the Prep-Year?
Answer:No. But could be used for the selection of Majors as well as for the selection of the TOP 20 Prep-Year Students award every regular semester.
  
Question:Can I register for Freshman courses while I am a PYP student?
Answer:Yes. If you complete/bypass the PEP or PMP, you can register for freshman courses according to course registration regulations.
  
Question:Where can I get an official excuse for my absence?
Answer:You can apply for the official excuse through the office of the Asst. Dean at Bldg.57-437 (Male) or 58-1004 (Female)
  
Question:What are office hours?
Answer:There are certain hours specified by your teacher for you to discuss your difficulties on course material every day. If you did not find your teacher, there are several teachers to help you. Get advantage of this facility.
  
Question:What is a “DN” Grade?
Answer:DN stands for Denial Grade. With a DN grade, you are out of the course.
  
Question:What are the consequences of cheating?
Answer:Cheating, attempting to cheat, or violating instructions and examination regulations shall render the offender subject to punishment in accordance with the Student Disciplinary Rules as issued by the University Council. It may result in expulsion from KFUPM.
