Annual Vocabulary Competition

The Prep-Year Program, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, recently hosted its annual Vocabulary Competition. This event featured multiple rounds concentrating on word definitions, usage, synonyms, antonyms, and spelling, challenging participants to demonstrate their vocabulary knowledge in an engaging and competitive setting.

The competition aimed to enhance students' language skills, foster a deeper understanding of vocabulary, and promote a healthy spirit of academic competition. It also sought to support literacy development and boost participants' confidence in their language abilities.

The competition consisted of three rounds of vocabulary questions conducted via Kahoot. It began with a general elimination round. Then, 20 remaining students faced increasingly challenging questions. In the final round, the top eight students competed intensely for the top prizes.

The event was a great success, motivating participants to continue enhancing their language skills. Thank you to all the participants, and congratulations to all the winners
